CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio (WOIO) – The suspect in the explosion of a Telsa Cybertruck outside a Trump hotel in Las Vegas has multiple connections to Northeast Ohio.

On Wednesday, Jan. 1, Matthew Livelsberger drove a Cybertruck full of explosives to the outside of a Trump hotel, where the explosion injured seven people and killed him, according to officials.
Livelsberger was also an active-duty United States Army soldier and a member of the Army’s elite Green Berets, according to officials.
According to Summit County property records, Livelsberger is the current owner of a home in Cuyahoga Falls, which he purchased in 2019.
19 News crews are working to confirm more information about Livelsberger’s connections to Northeast Ohio.
Multiple agencies continue to investigate the Cybertruck attack that happened around 8:40 a.m. Wednesday in Las Vegas.
On X, Elon Musk added that Tesla’s senior team is investigating the incident, saying, “We’ve never seen anything like this.”
