LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Fire & Rescue updated their EMS technology.
The City of Las Vegas says LVFR upgraded to the LIFEPAK 35 monitor/defibrillator.
“We are proud to be the first department in the nation to deploy this technology,” the city says.
According to a social media post, the new tech offers the following:
- cprINSIGHT that reduces pauses during chest compressions
- Includes real-time field-to-hospital streaming capabilities, allowing us to share patient vitals with medical staff prior to arrival at the hospital
- 12/15-lead ECG provides real-time diagnostic views
- Has a 10.4” touchscreen that displays up to 11 patient monitoring parameters simultaneously
- Enhanced AED mode for neonates and children, with WiFi/Bluetooth for post-event analysis
- New customization options for lists and timers for efficient medication and therapy management
