LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Center took a victory lap after this year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The event sold out and attracted more than 300,000 fans on site. But the LVCVA was particularly proud of the type of fans it attracted.

“But one of the components that accelerated the buzz in coverage this year was the unprecedented star power from just our count and our tracking. There were more than 38 A-list celebrities that attended, including everyone from Beyonce and Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Magic Johnson, I mean, you name it. But it reinforced Las Vegas as a global celebrity magnet,” officials said.

The Grand Prix set a new record for TV viewership, but Hill was particularly excited with the buzz it created across social media platforms. The LVCVA says that it was amazing for the city’s branding and marketing.
