LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen a double shooting that killed one person and sent another person to the hospital.
It happened Tuesday at an apartment complex on N. Torrey Pines Drive near W. Smoke Ranch Road.
Officers arrived to find one man with a gunshot wound. He died at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
While still on scene, police learned a second male had taken himself to a nearby hospital also with a gunshot wound. He wasn’t seriously injured.
Further investigation linked him to the inital report. Detectives also learned several other people had been in the apartment when the shots were fired. All had left the area by the time officers arrived on scene.
