LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A Las Vegas man was arrested following a shooting spree that left three people injured.

On April 1, around 2:30 a.m. police responded to reports of someone shot while sleeping in their car near Cima Road in San Bernardino County.

According to Barstow Sheriff’s Department shortly after a shooting occurred at a Chevron gas station on Baker Boulevard.

The suspect was identified as Antonio Chaidez. He was reportedly driving a black truck when he fired multiple rounds through the back door of the gas station hitting the store clerk.

Police say Chaidez fired his gun at two parked semi-trucks nearby striking one of the drivers before leaving the scene.

The three victims were taken to a nearby hospitals.

California Highway Patrol located Chaidez driving south on I-15 near Afton Road. Chaidez evaded police and led officers on a pursuit. Barstow Deputies assisted highway patrol to conduct a felony traffic stop on Chaidez.

Officials reported Chaidez was taken into custody following a shooting spree.

Police say the shooting spree began in Blue Diamond, Nevada, he then stopped in Jean, before ending at Baker, California.
