SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) – A Las Vegas man has been arrested in connection with a crash in Sparks from June.
Sparks Police arrested 48-year-old Kyle Cormier of Las Vegas.
Cormier was arrested and booked into the Washoe County Jail on charges of:
- Duty to stop at the scene of a crash involving death
- Duty to give information and render aid
- Expired vehicle registration.
At around 9:30 p.m. on June 29, Sparks Police, Sparks Fire, and REMSA responded to Glendale and South 21st Street for a reported vehicle vs pedestrian crash.
Police say Cormier fled the scene prior to police arriving.
The pedestrian, who has not been identified, died at a local hospital.
