LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A 35-year-old man told Las Vegas police that aliens wanted him to kill his father.
Las Vegas Metro Police report the incident happened on Feb. 5 around 6 p.m. in the 5300 block of Caprock Canyon Avenue.
Sang La, the wife of 73-year-old Eun Jin La called 911 to report her husband was not breathing. Fire and Rescue arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
According to the report, medical professionals initially believed that the death was natural and he may have fallen.
When police arrived on scene they found a 9mm cartridge near Eun’s body. Sang told police they did not own a gun and their son also lived with them. Sang mentioned he talked about a gun in the past, but was not sure if he had one at the time.
Police identified their son as Timothy La.
The report said Sang last saw her son at 8 a.m. when she left for work.
Due to the suspicious nature of the incident, crime scene analysts were granted a search warrant.
Detectives reportedly witnessed a trail of blood which led to the stairs and up to the second floor of the home. The victim’s body was found slumped over a table.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office found a gunshot wound in Eun’s head.
Police made contact with Timothy while he was walking east on Caprock where he was taken into custody
Police said Timothy claimed he was “saving someone,” like a worker, from being tortured. He explained the “worker” was wearing the skin of his father’s face.
Timothy said aliens told him to kill his father, he felt like he was on a different planet.
Detectives reportedly found the gun in a basket near the front door.
Timothy is facing a murder charge and is set to appear in court on Feb. 25.
