LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Detectives with Las Vegas Metro Police are asking for help to find a car reportedly involved in a freeway shooting.

Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened on Feb. 16 after 6:30 p.m. on the 215 beltway at North Hualapai Way. Police said it happened within its Northwest Area Command.

When officers arrived, the victim told police that the driver of an “older white sedan” drove to the passenger side of his car and shot at it multiple times.

Police said the two cars hit each other, and the other driver fled east on the 215. Police said there were no injuries.

Detectives say they are looking for an older white sedan with damage to the driver’s side of the car. Detectives are looking for witnesses who may have been driving in the area at the time of the shooting.
