LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police are searching for a driver involved in a Thursday night hit-and-run that killed a bicyclist.

According to LVMPD, the crash occurred on Stewart and Pecos around 11:10 p.m. An initial investigation found that the bicyclist was riding west on Stewart in the storage lane, while a Toyota Camry was traveling west.

Police say the Camry failed to stay in its lane, and hit the bicyclist.

Arriving medical crews transported the bicyclist to UMC Trauma by ambulance, where he would later die.

“The bicyclist’s death marks the 24th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction in 2025,” LVMPD noted in a release.
