LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Las Vegas Valley nonprofit is providing another affordable housing option for veterans.
Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada unveiled a new property in North Las Vegas near Centennial Parkway and North 5th Street.
This is part of the nonprofit’s new initiative of creating affordable housing options for veterans, as well as low-income residents. Officials say this will help with the current housing crisis, including a 124,000 unit shortage in the valley.
The CEO of Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada says multiple different groups like veterans and disabled seniors may have to wait multiple years into affordable housing. The nonprofit plans to add eight more units to Henderson before the end of 2025.
