LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A southeast valley intersection is closed Tuesday morning after a crash knocked over a power pole.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred at the intersection of Topaz and Tropicana around 3:56 a.m. NV Energy reported an outage affecting over 1,100 customers around 5 a.m., which jumped down to just under 300 around 5:15 a.m.
Police add that the driver sustained minor injuries and will be arrested after showing signs of impairment.
All lanes in the intersection are blocked until further notice.
RTC also warned that traffic signals in the area may be dark, and advised drivers to treat the intersections as all-way stops.
Drivers are advised to expect delays or find other routes, if possible.
As of 8:40 a.m., just over 100 customers remain without power.
