LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police arrest female involved in deadly hit and run.
According to LVMPD, the crash occurred on Stewart and Pecos around 11:10 p.m. An initial investigation found that the bicyclist was riding west on Stewart in the storage lane, while a Toyota Camry was traveling west.
Police say the Camry failed to stay in its lane, and hit the bicyclist.
23-year-old Katerine Morales was arrested on Feb. 7 in connection to the incident.
Police located Morales driving a silver 2011 Toyota Camry.
Police report the 50-year-old male cyclist was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Officials say the crash remains under investigation.
Morales is set to appear in court on Feb. 11.
