LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police exhausted their leads in a case where a dog was found in a tote bin. Police are now asking for any more surveillance footage from nearby businesses.
FOX5 is following the case of a dog named Reba. The English Bulldog was found late July taped-up near the Boulevard Mall on Maryland Parkway and East Twain Avenue.
Reba suffered from heat stroke and struggled to breathe.
“Anybody who’s sick and twisted enough to put an innocent life of an animal inside a container with no ability to save itself, duct taped, leave it next to a dumpster that we’re only lucky that somebody happened to hear her cries,” said Lindsey Pinapfel, a volunteer foster with Vegas Pet Rescue Project.

LVMPD detectives say there could be more than one suspect involved. They may have abandoned a black tote to the rear of a grocery store near East Katie Avenue and South Maryland Parkway in the days leading up to the incident.
Vegas Pet Rescue announced that several anonymous donors stepped forward to offer a $21,500 reward for any information about the death of Reba.
