LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – UPDATE 11:30 p.m. Thursday: Metro has confirmed the suspect is in custody and there are no reported injuries. Roads around the barricade will be opening soon.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say they are on the scene of SWAT scene near Buffalo and Alta Thursday evening.
LVMPD say a man got into a fight with his wife and adult step-daughter.
When police arrived on the scene the man opened a garage door and pointed a gun at the two women.
Police believe the man is still inside the home and has not communicated with officers.
There are several street closure at this time. Alta Drive between Serra Street are closed in both directions and Vincent Way from Alta Drive to Camp Fire Road.
