LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Two people have been injured in a central valley crash on Thursday morning, according to Las Vegas police.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred on Desert Inn and Buffalo Drive around 5:53 a.m.
An initial investigation revealed that the driver of the first vehicle was traveling east on Desert Inn and was struck by another vehicle traveling south on Buffalo, which ran a red light.
Speed is also determined to be a factor in the crash.
Two people were transported to a local hospital for medical care, but the extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
