LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A woman is dead after an east valley crash on Saturday, police say.
According to Las Vegas Metro Police, a Hyundai Sonata and Chrysler 300 collided on Boulder Highway and Dalhart Avenue around 1:10 p.m.
An initial investigation found that the Hyundai stopped at a stop sign on Dalhart, and continued through the intersection with Boulder Highway. Police say the Hyundai traveled into the path of the Chrysler, which struck the driver’s side.
Arriving medical crews arrived and transported the Hyundai driver to Sunrise Trauma, where the 50-year-old woman would later die.
The Chrysler driver reported minor injuries and showed no signs of impairment, police say.
The woman’s death marks “the 32nd traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction for the year 2025,” according to a release.
