LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run in the central valley Thursday morning.
According to LVMPD, an unknown vehicle struck a pedestrian around 2 a.m. on Sahara and Valley View, and fled the area. Arriving officers located the pedestrian and transported them to UMC, where they would later die.
An investigation into the crash and the search for the driver are ongoing.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area, as the intersection will remain closed until further notice.
