LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash Wednesday evening.

According to LVMPD, around 7:26 p.m. a pedestrian was walking across the street near Nellis Boulevard and Twain when they were hit by a car.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital where they later died.

Police do not suspect the driver to be impaired.

Roads are expected to be closed for several hours.
