LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a murder-suicide that left two dead on Friday.
Around 5:34 p.m., the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received reports of a shooting at a residence in the 8700 block of Rancho Destino Road.
After initial attempts to contact the residents were unsuccessful, the officers entered the home and located a male and female suffering from gunshot wounds. Arriving medical crews would later pronounce both dead.
An initial investigation revealed that the male shot his wife and then himself, though additional details were not available.
The investigation is ongoing.
