LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police are investigating a carjacking that happened in the west valley Monday.
Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to calls of the robbery around 11:43 a.m. in the 5400 block of West Charleston Boulevard, east of Jones Boulevard.
Police say a victim was carjacked by a male suspect and injured as the vehicle attempted to flee the area. The suspect then crashed the victim’s vehicle a short distance away and was arrested shortly after.
The victim and suspect were both transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
