LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating after a deadly crash in the east Las Vegas Valley on Thursday night.
Police reported that at 10 p.m. a motorcycle rider was traveling east on Tropicana near Sandhill, just a couple of blocks east of Pecos, when another vehicle made a legal left turn on a yellow light.
The motorcycle struck the other vehicle and the bike’s rider was declared dead at the scene. LVMPD Traffic Investigators responded to the scene.
Metro advises motorists to avoid the area and to expect delays in the area for several hours as an investigation is ongoing. Tropicana is reportedly shut down in both directions at Sandhill.
