LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting at N. US-95 and E. Charleston Blvd. on Friday.
According to a media release, one officer was injured and taken to UMC hospital. At this time, the officer is reportedly in stable condition. Police said a suspect is in custody.
US-95 southbound is closed at Eastern Ave. and there is currently no access to southbound US-95 from Charleston Blvd. Delays are expected and police advise avoiding the area if possible.
