LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police are investigating after a man died in an east valley shooting Friday morning.
According to police, dispatchers received a 911 call around 12:45 a.m. from a woman who said her boyfriend had been shot. Arriving officers responded to the 2800 block of East Bonanza Road, near Eastern and Washington, and located a person inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers provided aid to the person until medical arrived and pronounced them dead, before notifying homicide detectives.
Initial investigation revealed that the man was listening to music in his vehicle at the time, and witnesses in the area heard two individuals arguing and then several gunshots. When the girlfriend came outside to investigate, she told police she located her boyfriend injured in the car.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
