LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Police are investigating following a Tuesday afternoon shooting near the Las Vegas Strip.
According to a preliminary report, officers responded to E. Desert Inn Rd. about a block away from the north end of the Strip, near the northwest corner of the Wynn Golf Club. Police found one victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Medical personnel took the victim to a nearby hospital. This is an ongoing investigation, and avoiding the area is advised due to a heavy police presence.
