LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver that left a pedestrian fighting for his life Wednesday night.
According to LVMPD, the crash occurred on East Cheyenne Avenue west of Marion Drive around 11:55 p.m. An initial investigation found that a white pickup truck was traveling west on Cheyenne and struck a pedestrian standing in the road.
The truck then fled the scene. Police believe the vehicle is a 1999 or 2000 white Chevrolet Silverado or a GMC Sierra. The vehicle is believed to have damage to its left front grill, bumper, and lighting.
The pedestrian was transported to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
