LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are releasing more body-worn camera footage of a fatal homeowner shooting.
Brandon Durham died Nov. 12 in his home after he called the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to report a home invasion.
LVMPD Officer Alexander Bookman shot Durham six times as he struggled over a knife with the home invasion suspect.
Alejandra Boudreaux, the suspected home invader, faces various charges related to the case.
A few days after the shooting, police released redacted body camera of the shooting.
On Nov. 18, FOX5 requested additional body-worn camera of the incident, including video from Bookman’s camera before he arrived on scene and video from the other officers who responded.
LVMPD initially denied that request the same day, citing an open investigation.
Now Las Vegas police say they will release the body worn camera footage for free on their YouTube page.
