Las Vegas police release new surveillance video of casino robbery suspect

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officials released new video Tuesday of a casino cage robbery.

Police released details Saturday on the robbery at a Summerlin casino, during which a man dressed as security used a gun to take money from a cashier’s cage.

The incident occurred on Thursday, just before 10:30 p.m., when dispatchers received a report of an armed robbery at a casino in the 200 block of Rampart Boulevard in Summerlin.

Video shows the unidentified man walking through the casino wearing a ballistic helmet, blue sunglasses, a black facemask and a blue and yellow security jacket.

The suspect is shown pulling out an AR-style rifle at the cashier’s cage and demanding money. Police said the employee complied, and the suspect left in the same manner as he had arrived.
