LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are responding to a deadly overnight crash in the northwest valley.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred around 11:55 p.m. on Monday at North Rainbow and West Lake Mead Boulevard. Officers responded to the area after receiving reports of a crash involving several vehicles and multiple injuries.
Two people have been transported to an area hospital with injuries, and one person was confirmed dead at the scene.
The intersection is closed in all directions, and the public is advised to avoid the area.
An investigation into the crash is also ongoing.
