LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police are looking for the driver who ran on foot after hitting a pedestrian in an east valley crash.

According to LVMPD, on Nov. 28 just before 2 a.m. officers found a person on the ground who they believe was hit by a car.

The victim died on the scene.

Police investigations discovered a male who was riding a scooter attempted to cross east Lake Mead Boulevard. At this time a stolen 2013 Hyundai Sonata was speeding and hit the rider at the intersection.

The driver continued driving the stolen car and left it parked at the 600 block of east Lake Mead, also hitting several things in the process.

LVMPD is looking for the driver and passenger of the stolen car who reportedly got out of the vehicle and began running, which you can see in the video provided by Las Vegas Police.
