LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 obtained an arrest report from Las Vegas police detailing a Las Vegas Raider’s player DUI arrest.
Justice Court records show that defensive end Charles Snowden faces a misdemeanor charge for driving under the influence.
Snowden’s defense attorneys said the player is expected to plea not guilty.
“Mr. Snowden will be entering a not guilty plea and we will respond in court, which is the appropriate forum.” said David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld.
The NFL club also provided a statement:
According to Las Vegas police, Snowden was found near Rainbow Boulevard and Sunset Road Monday.
Police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle. When officers arrived, the vehicle was locked and officers noticed a man appearing to be asleep inside.
According to the arrest report, the man, later identified as Snowden, would wake up and then fall back asleep without noticing officers.
After about 10 minutes of knocking, the driver woke up again, turned off the car and exited.
Police say Snowden was unsteady on his feet and had to be held up. Police also noticed an unknown smell of an alcohol beverage.
Snowden is expected to appear in court Tuesday.
