LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll has been relieved of his duties after only one season.
The news came down Monday morning with Mark Davis releasing a statement on social media. The post announced that Carroll was relieved of his duties as head coach.
“We appreciate and wish him and his family all the best,” the post continued.
The Raiders said General Manager John Spytek will lead all football operations in close collaboration with Tom Brady, “including the search for the next head coach.”
The next coach will mark the sixth head coach the Silver and Black have seen in the last decade.
