LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Clark County says a motel on the Las Vegas Strip was demolished without proper permits.
According to county officials, the White Sands Motel located south of Tropicana Avenue did not follow proper county code.
The county says the owner received air-quality related permits but did not receive the proper demolition permit.
The owner is currently the Three Affiliated Tribes who are also hosting Christmas on the Strip at the former Route 91 festival site.
The owner must get the proper permits and pay fees before January 6th.
