LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A Clark County School District substitute teacher accused of child abuse, has died.
Nicholas Bott, 44, was arrested on Friday for an incident involving a minor at Ernest A. Becker Sr. Middle School. His arrest was the result of a CCSD Police investigation that was launched on Tuesday, May 14.
He was facing charges of child abuse and illegal contact with a minor or elderly person. Court records show he posted bond and was released from custody on May 16.
The Clark County Coroner confirmed that Bott died from a gunshot wound to the head on May 18. His death was ruled a suicide.
