LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A CCSD teacher accused of sexually assaulting a student is now facing new charges related to the sexual assault of a second student, according to documents obtained by FOX5.
Anthony Coffield, 36, is now facing five charges related to the sexual assaults of two different students. An arrest report from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department detailed a conversation with the first alleged victim, during which she said she was assaulted before graduation at Green Valley High School in May.
According to an updated criminal complaint, the second assault is believed to have occurred between April 1 and May 31, 2016, at Spring Valley High School.
Coffield was due back in court on Dec. 17, but that hearing has since been vacated. It is currently unclear when his next hearing may be.
