LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Happy New Year! A Las Vegas Valley hospital welcomed its first baby delivered for 2025.
Deana Apodaca delivered her new son Frankie Apodaca, who weighed in at 5 pounds, 11 ounces, at 12:02 a.m.
“Mother and baby are doing well and father Franklyn is beaming with pride.,” said officials at Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican Siena Hospital.
Both Deana and Franklyn are native Nevadans, born and raised in the Silver State. Deana is a casino cocktail waitress and Franklyn is a member of the local painters’ union.
The hospital said Frankie and his parents received a basket containing everything a new baby could need.
