LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – It’s getting hot! Las Vegas officially hit triple-digit temperatures Thursday afternoon.

Temperatures reached 100 degrees at 3:21 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Last year, Las Vegas saw record-breaking heat. The valley reached 100 degrees on May 17.

The Las Vegas Valley saw its first 100-degree day of the year on Friday.

The beginning of this month, the valley also broke records for being the wettest May in recent history. 1.44 inches of rain was recorded at Harry Reid International Airport.
