
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Lee Canyon has officially opened after days of significant snowfall.
Officials say on Nov. 21, minutes before 9 a.m., about 1,000 skiers and snowboarders waited in line to snag a lift on the Bluebird quad chair to the top of the slopes.
Guests were welcomed to shred the 28 of 29 trails, now open. According to the weather conditions report, 30 inches of snow accumulated over the last 6 days.
