LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The League of United Latin America Citizens (LULAC), the largest and oldest Latino civil rights organization in the U.S., announced the speakers and special guests for its 95th Annual National Convention and Exposition set to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from June 26 – June 29 at the Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
According to a media release, this year’s theme, “Empowering the Next Generation,” will focus on positioning, training, and preparing the next generation of Latinos for success through its onsite education opportunities such as the LULAC Academy and in-depth conversations on topics that impact Latinos, including economic empowerment, health and wellness, technology/AI, and immigration.
There will also be two clinics in collaboration with the U.S. Soccer Foundation and Coalition for Immigrant Freedom. In partnership with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, LULAC will host a mini-pitch activation with U.S. Soccer Foundation trainers giving mini soccer clinics for conference participants and providing information about youth programming opportunities. In a collaboration with the Coalition for Immigrant Freedom, LULAC will host several immigration activations, including providing participants with free one-on-one legal consultations with immigration attorneys and DOJ-accredited paralegals on a range of immigration issues.
