LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police charged a man for terrorism after threatening to shoot a valley healthcare building.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released Stevie Adams’ arrest report to FOX5. He’s faces one charge of making a terroristic threat.

Police said Adams received a call from the healthcare service on Dec. 18 of last year. Police learned that an employee called Adams because of several complaints made.

During the call, the employee said Adams turned irate and asked for the address of the building. Adams would tell the employee he’s going to visit in person to complain to a manager and then later said he will shoot the building.

The employee hung up and immediately reported the call to the healthcare’s 911 dispatch. The building went into lockdown and police responded.

Police learned that Adams called two more times. The employee said Adams felt frustrated because he felt he wasn’t being listened to.

On Dec. 30, Adams was located on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip. He was taken into custody and police found a pellet gun and two iPhones with a search warrant.

Police said Adams was not allowed to have a firearm because of a previous violent firearm charge from California.

During an interview with police, Adams said he has ongoing medical issues that cause him pain. He says he was stressed out trying to work with companies while raising three 6-year-old girls.

He told police sometimes he has “blackout” moments and forgets stuff at times. He said he does not remember the phone conversation with the healthcare service and that he did not have any ill intentions toward them.

The arrest report says probably cause was created because he intentionally asked for the address of the healthcare building and clearly made a threat through the phone call.

Court records show that he’s being held on a $1 million bail. He made his initial appearance in court Monday morning.
