LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said 33-year-old Eryka Westover is accused of child abuse or neglect.
The announcement of the arrest was released Friday morning. Police said on April 1 of this year, a report was completed with Metro alleging a student had been abused by a teacher at a learning institute in the 9000 block of Hillpointe Road.
Abuse Neglect detectives then took over the investigation.
On May 17, detectives arrested Westover as the suspect. She was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and is facing felony charges.
