LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Reimagine Boulder Highway project celebrated a milestone.
Sunset Road, east and west of Boulder Highway, is now open to drivers eight days ahead of schedule.
The FOX5 drone flew over the section on Tuesday.
Officials say crews worked double shifts to reopen Sunset as early as possible.
In November, the City of Henderson began the work to install a storm drain at the intersection to improve flooding conditions during weather events.
