LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Things are looking up for some of the residents at Mt. Charleston’s Old Town.
Their major road was previously damaged by Tropical Storm Hilary. It has since been paved but was hit again by a wind storm Monday night.
NV Energy did not have turn off the power for the town.
One resident FOX5 spoke to said it was the Water Authority who covered the costs.
Now, those residents are waiting to see if they will have snow removal this winter.
They were getting snow removal in the past when Lundy Elementary was open, but the school closed since Hilary slammed into the mountain.
