LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Mammovan is back and offering appointments to those in need of screenings this month and next.
The Mammovan is part of the Nevada Health Center’s initiative to provide access to as many women as possible across the state.
According to the center, the van began operating in 2000 and was made possible through a grant from former Senator John Ensign and the former First Lady of Nevada, Dema Guinn.
Women do not need health insurance to get a screening but are urged to make an appointment first.
Those interested can call (877) 581-6266, option #1 to make an appointment, then watch for a text or email with a link to preregister before you arrive.
