LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Jose Soriano was extradited to Las Vegas after getting arrested for the second time in Virginia.
A Clark County Justice Court Judge set Soriano’s bail at $25,000 on Jan. 13 following his return to Las Vegas.
The case of the 42-year-old man facing several battery charges for the road rage attack caught on camera was then transferred to District Court.
Soriano was released following his initial arrest in July, but later arrested and booked into the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center in Leesburg, Virginia while he awaited extradition.
Clark County District Attorney Steven Wolfson released a statement following Soriano’s arrest on Oct. 2 in Virginia, which said in part, “We are very pleased this defendant was arrested.”
According to officials, Soriano is seeking a new lawyer to represent him.
Clark County jail records confirm Soriano is in custody and set to appear in court on Feb. 5 at 9:15 a.m.
