SYLVANIA TWP. Ohio (WTVG) – Charges have been upgraded against a man accused of shooting two people in Sylvania Township.

A Lucas County Grand Jury indicted Sean Landis on Oct. 10 on two counts of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Burglary, two counts of Felonious Assault and Tampering with Evidence.

Sylvania Township Police say Sean Landis, 53, shot a husband and wife on Crossfields Road Sept. 9. Police said the victims were seriously injured. Police said the alleged shooter is a former co-worker of one of the victims, though a motive has not yet been disclosed.

911 calls detail the moments the victims told dispatchers someone broke into their hours, and say one of them had been shot “four or five times.”

Authorities say the FBI and Las Vegas Police worked together and arrested him at the MGM in Las Vegas last week. He has since been extradited to Toledo and was booked into the Lucas County jail.

Editor’s note: Records reflect different addresses for Landis, with one set showing he is from Bridgeton, New Jersey and another that said he is from Scottsdale, Arizona.
