LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A 36-year-old is accused of open murder after a woman died from falling off an SUV in Las Vegas, Metro police say.
Police said Alejandro Cisneros was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
According to a press release, the incident happened late June at East Yuma and South Frank Street. When officers arrived, they found a woman, later identified as 28-yaer-old Alondra Rivera, unresponsive on the roadway.
Investigation revealed that the woman was involved in an argument with the accused while she was on the hood of a car. Detectives believe the SUV came to abrupt stops that would cause Rivera to fall off and hit her head.
Police said Cisneros fled before police could arrive. He was apprehended by the Criminal Apprehension Team compromised of the FBI, LVMPD, Henderson and North Las Vegas Police Departments.
