LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man charged with killing a pair of Nevada State Troopers in a DUI crash last year has reached an agreement to plead guilty.

Jemarcus Williams is facing multiple felony charges, including two counts of DUI resulting in death, after a crash killed two NSP troopers on November 30, 2023. According to a police report, Williams “admitted to drinking ‘one shot of vodka’ while at a concert at the Palms Casino that night.”

Police said that Williams “had a slurred speech pattern that was incoherent at times, he emitted a strong odor of alcoholic beverage from his breath, his eyes were bloodshot and watery, and he had a blank stare.” A records check revealed that Williams was previously convicted for DUI in July 2008.

On Monday, Williams’ attorney, public defender Michael R. Yohay, confirmed to FOX5 that Williams will plead guilty to two counts of DUI resulting in death in exchange for the other charges against him being dropped.

Williams is set to file the plea at a Clark County District Court hearing on April 25.
