
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A man died after crashing a motorcycle in northeast Las Vegas Wednesday morning, police said.
According to a release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred Wednesday just after 1 a.m. near the intersection of Carey Avenue and Christy Lane in northeast Las Vegas.
Police said a motorcycle travelling west on Carey Avenue went off the street during a curve in the road and was thrown from the vehicle, striking a light pole. Emergency medical technicians pronounced the motorcyclist, identified as a 22-year-old man from Las Vegas, dead at the scene.
Officials said the man’s death represents the 94th traffic-related fatality of 2025 in LVMPD jurisdiction and that the crash remains under investigation.
