LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man is dead after a crash in a west valley apartment complex on Sunday afternoon.
According to Las Vegas Metro Police, the crash occurred in the parking lot of the Calypso Apartments on Vegas Drive around noon. An initial investigation found that a 26-year-old man possibly suffered a medical episode while driving a 2024 Volkswagen Jetta, causing him to strike a metal pole and the front gate.
The man was taken to UMC Trauma, where he would later die.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
