LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police arrested a 33-year-old man for a body found near railroad tracks in April.

On Sunday, April 13, at 7:43 a.m., LVMPD’s dispatch received a call about a dead body near railroad tracks in the 1500 block of A Street, near Owens and Main.

When officers arrived, they found a man who appeared to have suffered burns. Homicide detectives took over.

The Clark County coroner identified the victim as Leotha Patton III, 48, of Las Vegas. His cause of death was determined to be multiple blunt and sharp force injuries.

The suspect was identified as Antonio Telford Jr., 33. He was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder.
